Verona is a city on the Adige River in Veneto, Italy.

Three of Shakespeare plays are set in Verona including "Romeo and Juliet", perhaps the most famous of them all.

The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its structure and architecture.

Romeo and Juliet was, of course fiction but the frenzy it causes is very real. Casa di Giulietta  is the epicenter of the activity where you can post your own love note or step through yonder window on to Juliet's balcony. It is all about romance there. The film "Letters to Juliet" was filmed in Verona.

Verona is a beautiful city with terracota rooftops, cobblestones streets, the winding Adige River, lush vineyards and grand villas. There is much more to Verona than Capulets and Montagues.

Attending an Opera in the Arena di Verona is a unique experience, even if you are not an opera fan.
