Santorini is an island in the southern Aegean Sea, Greece. It is the largest island of a small, circular archipelago which bears the same name and it is the renmant of a volcanic caldera.

The capital Thira, clings on the top of the cliffs looking down on the lagoon and the caldera.

With deep blue waters Santorini has been a location for many films, including "Lara Croft: the tumb raider;" and a brazilian soap opera called "Belissima".
