HELLO THERE!
Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia comprises 16 crystalline lakes interconnected by a series of terraces, waterfalls and cascades, extending into a limestone canyon.
Over thousands of years the limestone sinter has formed dams and barriers resulting in clear water pools with algae and mosses giving the green, tourquoise and blue hues of the lakes.
The park is pristinily natural, densely forested and wild. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
