Florianopolis is the capital of the state of Santa Catarina, on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean in the South region of Brazil. It is composed of one main island, a continental part and all the surrounding small islands. The main island has 42 stunning white and golden sand beaches with turquoise clear waters, and several stunning inland jaded water lagoons and waterfalls surrounded by lush green hills.
