FERNANDO DE NORONHA
"Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake."
Henry David Thoreau
HELLO THERE!
Fernando de Noronha is a vulcanic archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, northeast of Brazil. It is a protected national marine park and ecological santuary with a jagged coastline and diverse ecosystems.
Few people can claim they have witnessed the breathtaking and unspoilt beaches of Fernando de Noronha, most people outside Brazil never heard of it and since the island was declared a marine national park, only 420 people , not counting residents, are allowed on the island at any one time. Some beaches with natural swimming pools only allow 50 people a day, just for 30 minutes so to protect the stunning and fragile marine environment.
The lucky few who visit the island are rewarded with a spectacle of natural beauty with amazing marine life, rugged landscape, towering rock sculptures, white sandy beaches, caves and natural swimming pools.
Fernando de Noronha is a Natural Wonder, a best secret kept by the Brazilian people and definitely one the most beautiful islands in the world.
