Dubrovnik is a wonderful city in Croatia on the Adriatic sea. The old town is encircled with a massive 16th century stone wall.

With its history dating back to Roman times, the walled city is a living, breathing artefact of the medieval ages and so it is not surprising that it was chosen to be the location for King's Landing in the American HBO fantasy drama TV series "Game of Thrones", an adaptation of the fantasy novels by George RR Martin, "A Song of Fire and Ice".

Walking the walls, wondering the stone streets and narrow passages one can travel in time having a sense of being far away in a place where even dragons can come to life.
