Kauai waterfalls

"Be in love with your life

every minute of it."

Jack Kerouac

HELLO THERE!

kauai has more waterfalls, streams, beaches and rivers than any of the other Hawaiian islands.

The Weeping Wall is a spectacular wall of long tall waterfalls cascading down  the steep cliffs of Mount Waialeale and has been the wettest or rainiest place on earth with an average rainfall of 450 inches per year.

Mount Waialeale is a shield volcano with walls exceedingly steep and as all the water from the heavy rainfall flows down the mountain crater in many different waterfalls through grooves that have been worn over the years, combined with the lush green vegetation growing on the walls, the waterfalls that make up the Weeping Wall are a beautiful Natural Wonder.

Waipoo falls is the highest waterfall in kauai, located in the Waimea canyon.

Other Wailua and Opaeka falls are located in the Wailua Valley.

Manawaiopuna falls is a privately owned waterfall known as Jurassic Falls because it was featured in the movie Jurassic Park.
