BRAZILIANS CARNIVAL DANCERS

When you hear the drums, feel the rhythm, you fly.

HELLO THERE!

Carnival is a catholic event by origin, but it is also rooted in European pagans traditions.

Brazilian Carnival is rooted in a cultural clash between the portuguese and the africans. Whilst the Portuguese brought the festival from Europe and the africans descendants brought their rhythms, music and dance moves.

During Carnival in Brazil, everything is possible. The poor can wear expensive customes, the rich can mingle in the streets and the women can wear barely any clothing.

Carnival is celebrated anywhere in Brazil and it is the largest and most celebrated festival.
