Ait Benhaddou is a fortified city, or palace along the former caravan route between Sahara and Marrakech in Morocco. This giant fortification, is made of six Kasbahs (forts) and nearly fifty individual forts. It is a great example of clay architecture.

Ait Benhaddou provided the setting for the fictional city of Yunkay, featured in the third season of the "Game of Thrones" television series. Several films have been shot there including "Gladiator", "Kingdom of Heaven", "Babel", "Alexander", "The last temptation of Christ" and "The Mummy".

In Game of Thrones, Yunkai is also know as the Yellow city and is one of the three great Ghiscari cities of Slaver's Bay, located Southwest of Mereen and north of Astapor.
